Bahçeli's "Terror-Free Turkey" warning: Sabotage plan is underway
RastinewsMHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli said the "Terror-Free Turkey" process has reached a critical stage, adding that attempts to sabotage the process are underway.
Bahçeli, targeting a study on Amedspor fandom conducted by the Kurdish Studies Center and Rawest, claimed the research was aimed at "keeping alive the treachery of separatism."
Bahçeli said, "It is understood that there are those who want to use Amedspor as a tool for their dirty projects. These attempts are a plan to sabotage Terror-Free Turkey, an attempt to poison the climate of brotherhood and peace."
Bahçeli, saying the Amedspor stands should not be turned into an area of provocation, stated, "Infiltration among supporters must be prevented"; he also called on the commissions formed as part of the process to take precautions against such attempts.
Bahçeli, also targeting public opinion research companies, called for legal regulation of studies he claimed were aimed at directing society, and said, "Criminal sanctions should be introduced against those presenting false, incorrect and misleading information."
Bahçeli concluded his message with the words, "There will be no turning back from Terror-Free Turkey."
