Third SDF Batch Moves to Damascus as Training Begins for Army's 60th Division

RastinewsAs part of the Syrian Democratic Forces' (SDF) integration into the Syrian army, a third group has been sent to Nebek in the Damascus countryside. The group, made up of members of the Hasakah Brigade, is expected to join the army's 60th Division after completing training.
Earlier, around 1,350 SDF members from the Qamishli Brigade and 1,120 from the Derik Brigade were sent through the same process for training.
Syrian Deputy Defense Minister Sipan Hemo said the military and security aspects of the integration had been completed, describing the new phase as "moving from integration to harmonization."
According to Hemo, SDF forces are being incorporated into the Syrian army in four brigades, and the focus will now shift to political and legal arrangements, along with the new constitution.
