Parliament Rejects Kılıçdaroğlu's Bid to Take Over Özel's Office
The Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) Speaker's Office has turned down a request from CHP leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu to have him assigned the office currently used by Yeni Parti leader Özgür Özel.

Özel's office remains with Yeni Parti. Several other rooms in parliament have been divided between the CHP and Yeni Parti.
As a result, the two parties will continue working in neighboring or facing offices in parliament during the new term.
According to the newspaper Türkiye, the CHP leadership reacted negatively to the decision.
