KDP Turns 80: PUK Calls for 'National Unity, Shared Responsibility'

Rastinews — The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) marked the 80th founding anniversary of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP).

In a statement, the PUK Politburo pointed to the crises facing Kurdistan and the wider region, and called on political parties to base their actions on national and democratic gains.

The statement stressed that political cooperation should strengthen existing achievements and foster a shared sense of responsibility in governance.

The PUK congratulated the KDP's leadership, members and supporters on the party's founding anniversary, marked on August 16.
