Mazlum Abdi discusses integration process with Aleppo governor

Mazlum Abdi met Aleppo Governor Azzam el-Garib and 2nd Corps Commander Casim el-Avad in Aleppo. The talks covered integration of military, civilian and service institutions, and the return of residents to Afrin, Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh.

RastinewsSyrian presidential adviser Mazlum Abdi met Aleppo Governor Azzam el-Garib and 2nd Corps Commander Brigadier General Casim el-Avad in Aleppo.

The meeting, held at the Aleppo governorate building, addressed the integration of military, civilian and service institutions and the steps needed to complete the process.

Ilham Ahmed, Kobani Brigade Commander Mahmoud Berxwedan, Integration Committee member Xezne Nebi and the head of Kobani district also attended.

The talks also covered the situation in areas where integration is still underway, the return of residents to their homes in Afrin, Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh, and the administrative and service arrangements required during the return process. Coordination between relevant institutions to ensure uninterrupted services in these areas was also discussed.

Syria's state news agency SANA identified Abdi by his full name, "Presidential Adviser Mustafa Halil Abdi," but did not give details on the other officials at the meeting. ANHA, for its part, named the full delegation and specified the areas discussed.
