Calling the development a massive step, Trump said: "This is a Giant Step toward Peace and Security, forever. This deal is a critical step toward Gaza being run by a new Palestinian government that will work closely with the Board of Peace to finally help the Palestinian people."
'ISRAEL TO WITHDRAW AS DISARMAMENT IS COMPLETED'
President Trump said Israel would withdraw from Gaza once disarmament is complete, stating: "As Disarmament is completed, Israeli Forces will withdraw, and the International Stabilization Force will work with a new Palestinian Police Force to take on the responsibility of making Gaza safe for its residents, and its neighbors."
Thanking Turkey in his statement, Trump said: "We have made Historic Progress, and there is still much work to be done. I want to thank the mediators, Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey, for their important efforts, and especially my incredible team, whose tireless work made this Historic Breakthrough possible."
Trump added: "Under this deal, Gaza will finally be in the hands of a new Palestinian government that serves its people. I congratulate everyone on this tremendous development, which everyone said could never be achieved."
