Tatvan Co-Mayor Mümin Erol Suspended from Duty

Rastinews — The DEM Party said the co-mayorship of Tatvan Mayor Mümin Erol has been provisionally suspended over a disciplinary process opened against him.

A statement from the DEM Party's Democratic Local Governments Council said the co-mayorship of Mümin Erol, co-mayor of Tatvan in Bitlis province, had been provisionally suspended.

"A disciplinary process has been opened against our Tatvan Co-Mayor Mümin Erol," the statement said. "To ensure this process is carried out soundly and objectively, the co-mayorship duties held by Mümin Erol have been provisionally suspended. The disciplinary process will be completed as soon as possible, and the public will be given the necessary information."
